The MQSR is a searchable data-base of registered Principal Supervisors at Macquarie University. HDR Supervisors can only become registered if they meet the criteria outlined in the HDR Supervision Policy. The University promotes the MQSR to help potential candidates find a supervisor. When you first gained registration you were asked to write a profile, and perhaps you just wrote in a few basic key words? As you grow and strengthen your research expertise, or if you've been on the MQSR for some years, it is important to come back and edit your digital profile so that it is up-to-date, and meaningful as a way of attracting HDR candidates.
Updating your MQSR profile is an administrative process managed by the Higher Degree Research Office**. They have advised me that this is is how you do it:
1. Login to MQSR using your MQ ID
2. Scroll to the bottom of your page and click "Amend"
3. Edit your details
4. Click on "submit"
If you have further questions, please contact Felicia.Wong[at]mq.edu.au
** The HDR Supervision Enhancement team do not look after the MQSR. It is 'owned' and administered by the Higher Degree Research Office. If you are already registered on the MQSR, all queries should be sent to Felicia.Wong[at]mq.edu.au
